What is aptitude and how to go about it?

In my opinion, when we want to do something we should learn about the same and then start doing it. In most of my training sessions people ask me only three questions.
(1) What is it?
(2) Why should I?
(3) How to do?
Let me try to answer each of these questions in accord to my experience as a trainer. Suggestions and views are always welcome.
(1) What is it?
If you take a dictionary and look at the meaning of aptitude, it is defined as a natural ability or skill. In other words let us define it as sheer common sense and it is not at all a rocket science. Besides this, an aptitude test is defined in a dictionary as a test to find out whether someone has a natural ability for a particular type of work. This is the reason why most of the companies have an aptitude test.
(2) Why should I?
The answer to this question is very simple. But, before that let us remind ourselves of a quote which we often hear and see in corporates. I quote "Aptitude and attitude decides our altitude". I can bet that each one of us would have come across this quote at some point in our lives, if not, then that individual lacks aptitude and attitude. Most of us have aim in life, but to achieve it you require A&A, but always the first step is aptitude. To pursue your higher studies or to get a job in a company, the first step is aptitude. Hope this answers the question.
(3) How to do?
After answering the first two questions, the next obvious question people ask me is how to go about it. For this, my answer is "ARE YOU READY?". For what? Don't panic. The answer is in the question. It is the "ARE" concept. Here "A" is aptitude in maths, "R" is reasoning and "E" stands for English. So start with mathematics, move on to reasoning and end it with English.
Now wait a minute. I know what you all are thinking. All this is fine but what in maths, reasoning and English. Is it everything under the sky, if it is then we would have to work only in the next birth. The whole curriculum is in the next post.
